Late Afternoon Wooders!
What a great day - company brought in lunch for all in recognition of retirement. Bone-in and Boneless wings for 30 peeps from the local wing joint of good quality. They do this for all folks leaving so I'm not that special. lol
Then, received an interoffice envelope from my Account Managers in Ohio that I've worked with for 5 years. A nice card and a $250 HD Gift Card enclosed. I was taken aback by their thoughtfulness.
Not a bad day I'd say.

 

I was spared the stale cake and safety cone for a hat. Treatment thank god. But they did tell you to punch in after and then tell ya to go home ya look tired. So there was that. But still never happened with me. Eh. I’m better off now anyways. Zero stress about closing/ ready for pick up times. Traffic, dumbasses. Nothing ,all by the way side,.

 

Congratulations Stan ... I have a bus with your name on it ;>)

 

Watching everyone rush around, while I slow walk, has been one of the funnier parts of retirement. I rarely leave the house though

Evening gents! Let the weekend begin! We are revisiting Margarita night. It was so good Wednesday night that it bears repeating. Some Sockeye Salmon Ceviche and guacamole - we're off to the races.

My temporary company car was delivered today. After 10 months of renting cars they finally grabbed one of the cars that were turned in to give to me. It's still in better shape than the beat to **** Enterprise rental cars I've had all along. Last one had three different brands of tires on it. I'll rock the 21 Equinox until June when my 23 shows up. Supposedly. Either way I don't care. Free car and gas.

 

It’s been a cold week. Hopefully our last the winter.

 

Should we all take turns calling Stan at 5:00 each weekday ?
