Lull between storms currently, got 3-4" in the first one, wind right now is blowing clouds of it around. Temp went frigid, so it's light powder sn*w. Weather guessers say this was the warmup for the main attraction coming soon. Schools are closed, city parking lots around the metro area are open for free to get cars off the plow routes. I have to admit, Minnysoda seldom gets caught by surprise with winter weather. All my family an in laws are home, glad none of them have to go out in this when it hits. That wind is howling outside, I'm not even going to blow this first snow off, would probably just blow back in my face anyway.

Wish I had my 6 year old granddaughter for the snow days, be fun to watch movies she doesn't see at home (she likes surprisingly adult stuff, but I stay away from the nasty and scary ones), pick some meals to try off youtube videos, make cookies, and see if we could actually learn to play a tune on the guitars longer than 4 or 5 notes. We're never bored when she does get to spend some time here, but if her brothers are here we don't get to do much.

I don't think I've ever had hamburger or tuna helper, and no desire to try them. Easy enough for me to cook food with good flavor and none of that chemical stuff prepared foods have. Occasionally cook a box of that cheap Kraft macaroni & cheese for the grandkids, they won't eat almost anything I do but they like that. I sneak in a handful of real cheese, though.

I'm craving meat today, maybe it's the cold. When the wind howls on frigid days I feel colder in the house even though the temp is the same and there aren't any drafts. Psychological probably.

nuttin here so far.
The last few days the chill seemed to get right to the bone. Prolly from being on the mend after using the driving range like a raped ape three days ago. That took over 49 hours to recover. Baby steps next time out I guess. But none of that in the near future. Pension kicks in in April retro to February. So there is that. Better stop the unemployment I don’t need any trouble
