Denny ... I did the same thing about a year ago ... Grandparents had a farm down in North Adams .... Went for a ride and stopped in front of the place ... The original house had been replaced after a fire in the mid 60's ( a local bank had been robbed and they hid out at the farm .. a fire ensued during the apprehension ) The new owners were cleaning up the yard and motioned for us to pull in ... It was a great conversation ... Come to find out they were from our area originally and after a bit more talking it comes out that I used to work on her sisters car ... Small world :>)

Was out on a ride couple years ago and went by my childhood home. The owner was in the driveway working. I stopped, told him who I was, pointed out windows....that one up there was my bedroom, that was living room, that was dining room.... he said not any more!!! They did some changes! Told them we had a barn out back, he wondered what some of the foundation was. We had a chat about the neighborhood....in all a nice visit. Would have loved to go inside and see the changes, but I know that should not be, and I did not want them worried about things! Nice to see these old places and remember......
