So far trying to learn anything on the guitar just makes me feel clumsy. I used to think I had thin fingers, guitar says they're fat. Why are those strings so damned close together?
Have learned the 5th fret tuning method, except for... how do you tune the first string the others are tuned off of?

 

Thought I'd done a lot of research when I picked out a guitar, but that one never got on my radar. All the Epiphones I found were much more expensive. If I had it to do all over again, I'd spend a little more and get an acoustic electric, for one thing they're lighter than a solid body electric and still get most of the sounds. As if that will ever make a difference to this pathetic beginner...

Just finished discussions with the main manager, now waiting for the owner to stop in so I can chat with him. So far looks good.
