It does look good. We have a few here made of poly wood. I’m dying to cut the rear legs down for a proper Adirondack style but the ole lady isn’t having any.

Afternoon Woods,

Took the grands to school this morning, will again tomorrow and again on Friday.

Took my truck home at lunchtime and got the RG out of the garage and rode back to work.

Got a meeting tonight a couple of counties west of here so gonna do some evening riding to and from the meeting. Looking forward to it although the wind is a little bit much today.

Brush fire yesterday in the next community over from us burnt 50 acres last night. They are happening all over the county the last could days with the dry weather, warm temps and wind.

Haven't really ran much with the fire department the last few years so I wasn't out in that mess last night.

 

I'm probably going to stain and seal it.

 

Wood texture is just fine and stain will bring out the natural look for sure.

 

I made yet another batch of chili (with beans). Yum.

 

Well fella's, just got home from my little get together this afternoon. The waitress said "I thought there was no game tonight" and I told her we were just getting together to have a beer for the students. Dagwood's is just off campus. A lot of people meet there before games and is always filled on game night. She understood. Just something to make me feel a bit better. Still a sad situation around here. Not sure if the game at michigan will be played Saturday or not. If it is, I certainly hope the student section, and the general fan base down there, show some respect for what has happened here. I understand other Big Ten schools have had moments of silence, and played our fight song, during their games last night. I truly appreciate their moments for us.
The guvnor wants to eliminate guns now, but that's not the solution. If I say more, I'll prolly get banned. Still a sad feeling around this area.
