Ruthie got flowers, a card, and a nice cheesecake with chocolate and strawberries in a hearts shape and I cooked her dinner....

Evening Mick, Larry, Stan, and all.

The heart shaped pizza was Cheryl's idea. My idea of a romantic Valentine's day was beating Cheryl at pool 4/4. We did go snow shoeing for a bit which was fun for her. Hot tub visit is on deck after pizza. Possibly.

Like him and Thomas Sowell. The Canadian government isn't happy with Peterson, though. Something about re-education? His views aren't popular with liberals in this country, either. Mine wouldn't be either, but few people hear my views. I haven't heard Peterson say it, so for now it's a rumor, but there's some stuff bouncing around about him running for Trudeau's job. That would be a hoot, they think we have political fireworks...

Mick, Greg, Stan, Moldy....

No PK for at least a week and a half or so. Waiting on permits to start the next job on the waterfront, which will be challenging.

Working in Whiskey Falls and I like it!!

Rained all day, took the truck out and rinsed the salt out of the nooks and crannies no car wash would reach. This winter is destroying a lot of pavement around here, lots of big cracks and frost heaves. I'd hate to ride in Carol's Honda on them, that car is rough on ordinary tar snakes, and when it shakes my truck that car would be a misery.

Got one snowblower wheel back from the hardware store today with a new tire on it. After tearing the inner edge of other one enough to see a little of the metal bead and bending the rim's center (how the hell do you do that?) they gave up on the other one. They seemed relieved when I asked to have it as is and said no charge. I'm not worried about the center, worst case the wheel would wobble, but I think my hydraulic press will straighten it out. Finally time to buy that small tire changer from Harbor Freight, wheel's too small for my motorcycle tire changer. Another example of why I like to do things myself, but got lazy this time.
