Canadians watching Super Bowl facts: We don’t get to see the high end commercials during the game. Especially if the Super Bowl was on a Canadian network. The commercials would be played during the next morning news shows.
I haven’t watched a Super Bowl in a while, so I have no idea if that’s still a thing. But it was.

Good morning all. Well, the van has been towed to the shop that will fix it. I feel much better. The actual block test report said, "Cracked Head". This guy will price repair and price replace. He warned that with the cramped space in the van the labor for repair may make replacement more attractive. Whatever it takes. He typically uses Jasper replacement engines because they have a good warranty.

Who knows. I could be done sooner than later. Checking my payroll records for the current payroll period beginning 2-4-23, my old rate is still shown.
Advised my boss I have no problem being done today or tomorrow by 4 PM if the rate of record does not change.

The first employer I've worked for that I can confidently say might play payroll games. I don't trust them at all.
Payroll is paid 1 week after the pay period ends, so if I played dumb, didn't check and received an insufficient pay amount, I wouldn't know until February 24 pay date.
At that point February is about over.
