TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
Howdy y'all. Got Mom moved into my sister's house in one of her kids old bedrooms. We had to pare her down from being in an apartment to being in a bedroom. Now she is in Santa margarita. It is a neat little town halfway between my house and work. It's going to take her a little time to get used to less freedom but it's going to save for a bunch of money and she will be with family. All in all it went well. It's just now starting to rain. Luckily we got her all moved in with one trip.
We just got back from our anniversary dinner at Prime 88. This place just opened up about a year ago. It is very high end for such a small town area. They seem to be doing well so there must be more money around here than I realize. This was our third time dining there. I notice the dress code is more relaxed. They have a dining room, a bar area and a patio. The bar area and patio were more casual but the dining room dress code prohibited jeans sneakers, t-shirts, open-toed shoes, etc. Now it seems the dining area has been changed to "Business Casual", no athletic shoes, no jeans with holes and no ball caps and no offensive words on clothing. They were probably missing out on a lot of patrons like us that have enough money to enjoy a meal there but do not particularly want to get all fancied up. So we got fancied up for nothing. Every time we have been it's just under three bills with gratuity but worth every penny.
We had raw oysters and oysters Rockefeller as an app, she had a Maryland crab cake and lobster tail and I had blackened Grouper for entrees. The food was off the chain good. I washed it down with a couple of Yuenglings and she had two chocolate martinis. The chef sent out two strawberries dipped in dark chocolate, my wife ate them both, She also got a huge piece of dark chocolate cake to bring home. I passed on the sweets. I also passed on the fresh loaf of sourdough bread with butter. My god is was a feast fit for kings.

Under three bills? I've never been able to achieve that at any of the Nashville steak restaurants
