TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
I am not even interested the first game enough to watch but I do thing the Purdy story is cool. I would like to see the Bengals win it all. Chances are it will be KC vs Philly in the SB and I will not be that interested in the game at all. At least if the Bengals or Purdy get in there I will enjoy watching the game.

I guess I'm un-American when it comes to football.
During football season it seems that most people forget how to do their job, forget how to go to sleep at a decent hour, forget how to take care of their families, etc. But, they always remember what player went to which college along with all of their stats. For whatever reason, knowing everything about a bunch of other dudes becomes the most important thing in life. Oh, and most have to prove their knowledge of football by discussing it at work instead of doing their actual job.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind watching a game but my life doesn't revolve around it.

Keep up, Bill. Larry is a Lions fan...never been to a Superbowl.

Morning Woodrow's....
Yesterday's high was 68°. Rode up into Oklahoma a bit for lunch with an amigo. Good day to be on the bike.
Right now it's 28° with a wind chill of 14°. Supposed to be an ice storm headed this way most of next week.
I'm making a big batch of chili later today. A bowl topped off with cheese, fritos and onions sounds good....

They still are!
A bunch of us were drag racing one night, probably around 1982. Guy had a Z1 900 and was doing good on it. There was a big sweeping curve about an 1/8 of a mile past where our so called finish line was. Guys were hitting 120-130 regular, and you had to shut it down before the curve.
I watched his tail light bobble then disappear. He went off into a big bar ditch and wrecked and broke his leg and f**ked up his Kawasaki.
He f**ked up our night too because someone had to go call the cops for an ambulance....
