The shift linkage could be improved, but so far I've had no trouble. I suspect the lack of a heel shift has extended the life. I've seen them fail however. I love the one Greg made.

I'd like the Kahuna foot boards like Russ has.
Looks good, Chris. You didn't go too high. Just not my thing.

Bob, 5% is the final 5% of any project. Usually see it on car customization or restoration. It's the final part of finishing the projr\ect. All too often, people either run out of money, time or interest. They see the light at the end of the tunnel and rush to get it done. Generally, the part that people see and requires the most patience in making it perfect. The part that you have to be OCD!

Servicing the tankless heater is really easy. Rather than me explaining it, just youtube it, plenty examples out there. I bought the least powerful submersible pump from HF 1/6HP for $65. I was afraid to use the more powerful one that I had. Worked perfectly. For chemical I used "HAYMAKER" TANKLESS WATER HEATER DESCALER. It was $18/qt and gets diluted with 1 gallon of water.

OMG. It's going to take me awhile to recover. Starting at 6:00 p.m. I have just exited a local dinner theater mystery interactive play production, fundraiser for the local Arts group.
I think a slow death would be preferred.

No different that I can tell, other than fresh picked have better flavor than store bought, but that's true of about everything I've grown. I don't eat them raw, though, that's cooked. Like lots of carrot in my beef stew, chopped small or shredded in some soups. And chili, of course.
