Is this the proper thread to discuss my new barbed wire tattoo?

I only wear a bandanna when it's over 80. My helmet doesn't have a removable liner. And it cuts down on chafing.

I used to take my bandanna off, when my helmet was off, in case there was a HDF coolness cop around. But it's a pain to retie, and I like the sun protection, so now I leave it on. I carry a cap on the bike, but it's too hot for hot weather.

I've been married since '81. If my wife is OK with being seen in public with me, I don't have to impress anyone else.

I'm going to start wearing my bandanna and Elkskin chaps more, just to annoy the young 'uns. I might even get a leather vest, and really drive them crazy.

This is getting boring- we need to revisit assless chaps, fingerless gloves, where the gas cap goes and preferred oil.

I wear one of these^^. The same thing fixed wing fighter pilots wear under their flight helmets. Keeps my helmet from rolling back and when I remove it I look just as sexy as I did before the ride.

If I didn't wear a doo rag, the ball gag would look out of place.

Plus it really matches my get back whips nicely.

The skullcap cap is easier to use than a bandana. No knots to tie.
If you have the store bought type with the tails, here's what I did for my wife's. Take a tiny rubber band, the ones just bigger around than a pencil, double it and slide it up the tails. Then you have an adjustable size with no knots. When you put it on just slide/roll the rubber band up to where it fits tight or slide down a little to loosen. It also keeps the tails hanging down straight and there is no knot in the back of your helmet. Change the rubber band once in a while to keep good elasticity.Been doing this for years.

Wearing a doo rag without a helmet becomes handy as a head bandage when you go down.

Nothing wrong with the 'rag', just like my leather vest ! Why not wear something that you feel good in !...b.
