You are right there. I made lots in US funds over the last few years. In Canada I have real estate in Toronto. Crazy returns. I'm not into losing money and am buying HD stock now. I think that it's a good price today, but I guess we can talk 5 years from now to see who was right.

No, that's not how it works. The comparison is year-over-year. Harley's sales this winter are being compared to last winter, and the winter before that, and the winter before that. They are not being compared to the middle of the riding season.

No concern, no fretting, no fussing, no opinions, no whining, no BS. In fact just the opposite. Very much enjoying life. Great riding on Sunday on my 128 Harley and just got home this evening after an exciting President Trump Rally in Wildwood NJ. Life is VERY GOOD.

Just sharing publicly available facts that were posted today by Harley-Davidson addressing their 4th Qtr and 2019 Full Year financial status.

Dear moderators: please move this thread, and all similar threads, over to the General HD Chat forum.

There is literally no reason for such off-topic threads to continue cluttering up a forum whose express purpose is for discussing the Milwaukee 8 engine.

I was also surprised by the absence of the Livewire. I figured it would be a talking point at least, but no, all Livewire sales figures are lumped together in the "Cruiser" category (which includes Softails, CVOs, and Livewire) (slide 14 of the presentation). That makes it ambiguous as to whether the Livewire actually sold well or not. I am assuming the Softails carried the weight of the Cruiser category volume.

they don’t want the embarrassment it was planned. They know what the outcome will be.

Hmmmmm....I wonder if this thread would have been moved if the sales #s were massively positive since almost all the sales data comes from bikes with the Milwaukee 8 engine?

By design. I had hoped to see at least a comment or 2 about the launch of the LiveWire even if they didn't post any sales figures this early after the launch. Maybe more information will be available when they release their 2019 HOG Annual Report.

Yes, maybe. And it should be noted that the MoCo has "always" (as much as I can remember) lumped CVOs, softails, and dynas together in a Cruiser category. I didn't want my previous comment to sound like they are just doing that now muddy the waters.
