I need SOME diversion, Doc.
I read it has driven National Geographic readership among 12-15 year olds to record low levels.
Just another right of passage slipping away to time.
Tire pressure was at 26psi instead of the 36psi I run at. Both front and rear were down almost exactly 10psi. Adjusted the clutch cable back into perfection. I'll go in and check the clutch when I install the new cable sometime this week. My windshield brackets came in and got that set up so it's easy to take off or install when needed.
Quick test ride was successsuccessful and in time to get me to church in a few, right after breakfast.

This day in history:
Janis Joplin with Big Brother & the Holding Company: “Piece of My Heart” - https://youtu.be/qA78eLqHLkM [from the album “Cheap Thrills”]
Janis Joplin: “Me and Bobby McGee” - https://youtu.be/sfjon-ZTqzU
_____
On 4 October 1970, rock singer Janis Joplin died of an accidental overdose of heroin and alcohol. The twenty-seven-year-old native of Port Arthur had embraced the hippie counterculture at the University of Texas at Austin. She developed her musical skills at Kenneth Threadgill's club and other Austin venues. Joplin's four years of meteoric fame began when she joined Big Brother & the Holding Company in California in May 1966. Her bluesy rendering of such songs as Willie Mae Thornton's "Ball and Chain" made her a national star, but her self-destructive manner of living led to her early death.

Mornomg Greg, thank you Mick. It feels good today. And if the day continues to be successful, my UC security detail will be uneventful.
