Carol's 'puter won't run AOL now. Her 'lectricity quit twice in the past week, and after the second one Windows is unhappy. Was also around that time there was a security update that messed mine up, including the infamous Microsoft, hey, you're not doing it our way, let's reset everything to defaults... Updates are turned off on mine now, I'd thought with win7 support ended, I wouldn't get them anymore. Not true. System restore to an earlier date took care of most of my issues, hope it will with hers. Told her not today, going out with daughter this afternoon (soon, must watch time). It's an ordeal with her and computers, long explaining for every step of the way. >What now? Click on Enter. >Why enter and not this button (clicking on something else). Because it makes you start over. >That's the first screen again, what do I do? Click on Enter...
Or maybe it's just AOL, what a crappy program. Even though almost every over email program is simpler and works better, she can't seem to be able to learn a new one. Wouldn't be the first time AOL changed something and she couldn't figure out how to use it. I hate that program, even more than MS outlook. She can't switch between Netflix and Youtube on the Roku, but my 4 old year granddaughter turns it on and finds shows she's been told not to watch... that scream while I was fixing lunch and she switched from Disney to watch Walking Dead on Netflix...
