yep..this morning. 50* and not a ripple on the water. Trying to respool a new reel. This braided line is driving me nuts, so thin I can hardly see it or feel it with my big hands......aaarrrrggghhhh
My grips are aluminum RSD grips. The rubber on them is a soft and comfortable replaceable rubber that I have replaced in the past. But the body comes off easy normally. The steel set screw if rusted in and so small I can't extract it. Only option would be to dill it out but the grips are so worn, I might as well replace them and hang the bars on the wall, grips and all.

I've never liked braided line either. I've used Spider-line for years when I fish for Steelhead in Erie, PA. That stuff is tough and a smaller diameter than the same test of other brands.
THose kinda mornings are both good for the soul and frustrating when you get no bites.
