Dinner with daughter last night, place really piles the food on the plate. This is about halfway through the thin sliced lamb (gyro), only lamb I've ever had I liked. Incredibly tender. Owner is a friend of Audrey's husband, they have an engraved reserved sign with their name on it that gets put on their table. When Audrey had a party when they got their house, the restaurant owner heard about it and came by with a bunch of appetizers as a gift. Russ - this place isn't far from where we got together with Allen last year.
Place was kind of international last night, bunch of young folks dressed in fancy African garb, a few Arabs, and the usual assortment of Minnysotans speaking 3 or 4 languages. Snuck a photo of a reflection in a window, didn't turn out good. Well endowed belly dancer. One before her wasn't wearing as much, would've made a great louie. Sorry, she was done before I thought about it. Something must have distracted me...

Got above freezing, finally put the new battery in the truck. Did something I've never encountered before, horn blew (that I have) and the engine started! With me standing in front of it, bit disconcerting. Made me wonder if that's all you had to do to steal a Chevy, just pull the negative cable and put it back on. But when I stepped on the brake to shift, it died. The horn might be an anti theft measure, but start the motor, that's weird. Tried it a second time, did the same thing.
