Mark, the smoke is pretty thick down here as well. Not to worry though, this snow storm will knock it down.

I'm sure you've heard this but just a reminder, when you pull the wheels, check the bearings, the only one of my used bike herd that had clean bearing grease was the '01 883 (only 10K miles). Check the spoke tightness, and pop the front caliper piston out and clean it good, put a seal kit in it, you'll want to change that old brake fluid anyway. Another thing I've done with old bikes is cook the chain in a pan of oil, I've had some that were hard to get all the kinked links loose just trying to put oil on them. An oil cooked chain (not boiling, just hot) gets nice and loose, or at least the ones I cooked did. Tip: don't cook chains in the house if any females are going to be in it for a couple days...
