TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
I go see the doc next Fri for my knee. Still OEM though and nowhere near where yours is Bob.
Where has Chuck been? at the Dr today?
Lou and Denny, both you guys take care out there. That sucks, there's nowhere to escape.
I did some research a while back and came across an interesting theory. The reason CA is always burning is because in nature, some plants have to burn to clear out undergrowth and help the next generation of plants to thrive. Also, when it burns, the fires don't come back for years, even decades, because there is nothing to burn. But CA had the only State FD in the country to fight those fires and they are never allowed to actually burn they way they should. I get it, there are homes and property up there so letting it burn is no longer an option, but... It seems to be a case of CA over-legislation that has created a problem so big that unless the entire state evacuates and burns to the ground, will always be an issue.
When I was little I would sit outside and watch the mountains burn from down below, but I've never seen smoke like that.

Lazy day today, yesterday's fun and games put me out of the mood for doing anything that matters. I see another season of Lucifer starts today on Netflix, pretty silly and I don't care much for the female lead (or the male lead much either), but for some strange reason I kind of enjoy it. The white lead has a black biological brother and they have the same parents. It's a bit quirky. I like the black brother better. Most shows I watch aren't because they're oscar material...
