Yes. We bend 2 brass welding rods to find lines in the ground all the time.

Russ , no one pays any respect to buried telephone cables, they won’t kill you if you cut them. Electric on the other hand hardly ever gets cut. The only telephone cable you don’t want to cut is a large Fiber-optic cable, it could bankrupt you

Having spent some time polishing the ends of those little jewels, no I don't think I want to mess with them again.

I don't have to water anything today, although I haven't seen any ducks in the creek out back. Wasn't too hot this morning, but all I did out there was pick some cucs and some of those round red things that go so well with bacon and toast. Note to self - get another package of bacon out of the freezer, no thawed ones left. I could have spared a good watering for your lawn Russ, but the clouds were headed for Bob.
