as do several other companies....
Hey, Greg...added a little excitement to the neighborhood tonite. State Police were at the lake house with spotlights and stuff looking for me Neighbor comes over around 7 and says "C'mon, let's go fishing for an hour or so, I going out later, too, when it gets dark"...It would be impolite to refuse, so I go. Wellll....we stayed out until it was dark. See a police car going slowly on road on other side of lake shining his spotlight on houses, then crosses the dam and starts down our road, going very slowly and lighting up houses and yards. I said " Oh, ****! I bet he's looking for me, my wife hasn't heard from me since this morning and got nervous. I'll bet she called my son and he called his trooper buddies from up here"...Sure as ****, cruiser goes slowly down our road, past my house, turns around and stops at my place. House lights start coming on. now spotlights are coming down my yard . I yell over and flash buddies spotlight at them and we motor over. Just as I figured, wife panicked, called my son and he called his buddies. My fishing buddy says " next time we go fishing, get a note from your wife"...Neighbor on other side says " We've been here years and never saw a State Police car come down this road". Told them " I told you it would be fun having me as a neighbor"
Wife calls me and I get a ton of **** from her. Then #1 son calls and says " WTF, Dad...I got better things to do on a Sunday night than drive 40 miles one way, then get a phone call that they found you"...JEEZ!!!!

Sounds like an artillery barrage out there, flashing sky, pouring rain. Looked at the radar, just starting and a big area of it to pass over. Had a nearby lightning strike, that one was really loud. Wonder when I'll be able to get back to sleep, maybe the rain pounding the roof will help. I expect ducks in the back yard tomorrow, wouldn't be the first time this year.
