TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
I don’t have any in either knee.
That sucks Bob. I fear I'm headed down that path also. Doctor says we're not doing anything yet but we have to watch it. Twisting makes it worse than anything else, so I'd imagine golf won't help that.
What are you planning on doing? Wait until it gets bad, or fix it before it becomes a huge issue. I dont know the best option would be.
Well it's been a while with Covid and all......

My knees seem fine except when I stand up from sitting/kneeling on the ground, hurts getting up. Helps to do it real slow, more effort and pain with more speed. Suspect it's the top thigh muscle (quadriceps) ligament, that muscle that does the most work getting up, and the pain is in the top front of the knees right where the ligament attaches. Doubt there's much to be done about that, other than the glucosamine I've taken for over 20 years. Probably more exercise would help, even though that hurts. Most of the people I know over 65 have actual knee damage, some in their 50s, figure I've actually done pretty well in the knee department. I suspect if I want to be able get up 10 years from now, I'll have to lose a lot of weight. 83, might not have any health problems by then...

This has been and shall continue to be an inside day. Just had a short heavy rain, well on its way to the 84 predicted, and enough humidity to feel higher. I have some walls to paint, be a good day for it. But first, lunch.

Hi Greg. Don't know what Colorado has going at the moment, but it has to be more interesting than here.
