Morning Lou! Watch your 6, some cops only carry a gun because they're paid to but most can shoot well though. We have fun competitions on range days.
I think my daughter was around 14 when we were at an indoor range with a cop in uniform next to us, all of us shooting at man silhouette targets. He took a long time between shots, would occasionally hit the paper, less often the "man". Audrey popped them off pretty quick, would hit the head about half the time, torso shots never got out of the lines. But another time at an outdoor range, a retired cop only put one hole in the target; it would get slightly bigger, never made two holes. Most accurate shooter I've ever seen, and one handed, his arm didn't move at all while aiming.

Civilians that shoot tend to because they enjoy and want to get better. A lpt of cops, because they have to. I've gotten rusty, but I'm more like that retired cop, single hole. Most of my qualification targets are baseball sized ragged holes at the end. But we're timed. I won Top Shot award in the academy and used to shoot competition too. But over the years it's gotten old for me and I've gotten rusty. But I still outshoot all of my coworkers.

Russ, I'll hit you up when we're headed out. Looking at leaving early Sunday morning.

Well my golf season may be over. My knee is having issues. I suspect torn cartilage like the other one had a year ago. The price of growing old. Pisses me off though.
