Good morning Al. I can’t believe I have to undergo what can only be described as “military training” today. For some reason I have to attend a special class that will highlight the fact that if I drink a gallon of some nasty tasting concoction over the span of two days that my GI tract will issue forth like something on the scale of the Krakatoa eruption and I will be thoroughly cleaned out for what can best be described as an alien procedure.

Around here, they use Vallium, which evidently has no effect on me. One doc told me I got enough most folks would have gone to sleep, and he said he could tell I was alert the whole time. I read about procedures that don't have all that liquid, and supposed to work even better, but locally it's all old style.
