They seldom get the chance with two kids but sometimes, when the kids are asleep, they’ll come through the back gate (we installed a gate, long story) and hang out and party. They have cameras over the kids beds so they can see that they are still in bed. Modern parenting?

I guess taking them to the bar and leaving them in the car is now a faux pas. Even if the windows are down a bit.

They both are great folks, really good people. I even took them some of my bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp tonight. They are never good on day 2.
