Correct. I hear Hwy 20 is closed to through traffic. We stayed in Le Mars, just down the road from Cherokee and we took 3 to 50 to 18. Not a bad ride, but not amazing either. Lots of reservation territory so I would use caution.

We came across 3 out from Fort Dodge.

Heading into Nebraska tomorrow and then up to Hot Springs. Be staying there for a couple of days before moving on. Not much for the crowds this year.

The Sand Hills are pretty. The southern part of the Black Hills are really neat as well. It's amazing how the scenery changes once you cross the border into S.D.

yep she looks good cleaned them before I took her out so yeah....took her out for a night ride...second thoughts on the ''noise'' off the left side....sounds higher up than the primary and nothing like described as a worn compensator, best guess now is a rocker off the front jug, twin cams ''to me'' sound like a sewing machine on the top of the motor.......I may be off but that's what I hear with every twin cam I've ridden..looks good.....gave it windex wipe before I took her out tonight
