Today's good deed - Carol's 2004 Accord with 50,000 miles on it (bought new in '04) didn't cool down very well in the last hot spell, so I put a gauge on it, low on pressure, put another can of r134 in it, pressure good, cold again. The question now is, how fast is it leaking? The leak was obvious on mine and I fixed it, couldn't find anything obviously wrong with hers. Both our '04 vehicles went low about a month apart, but mine has 3 times the mileage. And while I was over there, as almost always, she said, while you're here, I have a toilet that needs something adjusted...
This morning would have been a busy traffic day before the virus hit. Road construction and detours everywhere I went. They fix a block or two, then there's blocks or a few miles of frost heaves and pot holes, then another detour for a half block of repaving; way they do it, you can't go anywhere without stretches of bad road. Lots of people out, mostly looking under 40, ignoring all the safety suggestions. I shall continue to play hermit, although I did get some fresh milk and eggs today. That will hold me for a couple more weeks. Unless I get my grandkids another big jar of pretzels at Sam's Club. Back is doing pretty good again today, maybe next week I can two wheel out of town.
Mine got transmitted into the air a while back and the IRS & State said they got it. Haven't got the money in my checking account yet, and already spent $900 of it. Wait, never mind, that was my contribution to the economy from that $1200 stimulus check (tv watching is going to be even better). Hmm, what to do with those tax refunds... I wood like a Wing DCT, but I think those returns wood have to be a bit over $20K bigger. The 1200 needs new tires, but that wood only be a little of it. I'm sure I can think of something to spend money on, never been a problem in the past.

Doing well, Dan. We are helping Moldy spend his stimulus check. Earlier we helped Chuck spend his to pay income tax.
