I’ve always done the dry rubs. Haven’t done a 24 hour marinade yet

 

This will be my first time smoking ribs. Looking forward to it.

 

Beautiful! I have beef ribs in the fridge, ready to be smoked.

 

I picked up some jalapeno/cheese and linguica sausage from work. Should be a good artery clogging day.

Lunch at Daughter's house today, leaving soon, trip there shouldn't be bad but it's gonna be warm and swampy feeling coming home with no AC in the van. I like the truck better in summer, but the van has better airflow inside without AC.

Hope our travelers are going to have a trouble free ride about and find good food. Y'all have more fun than is legal.

Forgot to finish that sentence in last night's post, was interrupted by a phone call. Truck search is up to $20K now, don't want to get something I can't just write a check for without pulling some out of investments, and of course have enough ready cash left to grab a good deal on an FXRT or 2018 or later Goldwing DCT, though I don't expect that to happen, those are both too popular for what I'd call a good deal.
