The frustration continues. Neither 4 wheeler's AC will charge. The truck is low because the low side fill valve is leaking, must be an o-ring. I don't have a valve tool that will reach in that far, have to get one. If I can get it out, I might mickey mouse it and just put a new one in real quick when I pull the old one, If there isn't some other problem. The compressor won't engage on the van, so it's old style windows on that one, too old to put money in. I'd take the truck to a shop, get it vacuumed properly, but I'm currently without a way to leave it there, would have to wait till they finished, and I hate waiting. The hunt for a more powerful truck to replace the van is moving up the priority list. Was looking at $10K or less, gonna bump that up to
Carol - got the Otter box covers for our new phones, figured she wouldn't be able to put one on anyway, and didn't want to chance breaking it, plus her lawn mower wouldn't start. Early morning trip before it got hot (and then it never got hot today anyway). Center spark plug electrode burnt level with the bottom of the threads, put new one in, fired right up. Phone cover on, back home. Hour later, "my toilet won't stop flushing. After about 40 minutes trying to work her through turning the adjustment screw or turning off the wall valve, neither of which she could do, back over and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. Nothing she described was a problem, the end of the flush lever corroded off dropping the chain which of course went under the stopper. The way she described it, I thought it was filling over the overflow. Half the time I can't understand her descriptions anyway, it hard for me to figure out a 500 word essay when the answer is only yes or no...
Some good news, though, I've missed so many meals this past week I dropped another 5 lbs. And finally got the new string trimmer out of the box that was delivered about 8 days ago. Was nice to just relax this afternoon and whack grass and weeds the mower can't reach.
I wonder if Mount Rushmore is going to be demolished, couple of slave owners up there...
Now to read back and see if anything wunderful has occured in the TOAK, like a purty lady or two showing up.

Popular place for Ural rider groups. Looking at Google street view, I think I'd feel a lot better on a Ural than a two wheel Harley on that road. I've been on a similar, but shorter and not as high road in Arizona, felt ok, but that was on 4 wheels.
