Started the morning with nearly an hour and a half on the phone. First was unusual, what can you tell me about buying a softail? Thought about saying something about a 65 year old that last rode over 35 years ago, but refrained from saying anything negative. Didn't say anything encouraging, either, have no idea how that will turn out. Waiting an hour and a half for my morning coffee put me in a mood for something that makes me fat and clogs my arteries, so bacon and pancakes of course.
Considering I would literally be relearning how to strike a ball, yes, but I so love my Lynx Black cats that I bought in ‘97. Kristi and have talked about making Friday nights our night to go play on a lighted par 3 course near here. She doesn’t play but may be willing to learn.
At one point I carried a USGA handicap of 7. Now? Maybe 27.

I love golfing with Cheryl. Like I said, I'm not all that great so it's not like she wrecks it for me. In fact, we've been playing pretty evenly lately. She even out drove me on one hole from the men's white tee. Truth is my shot kind of sucked and she really cranked hers out there. But you can be sure she will tell that story for the rest of her life. I've heard it told at least a dozen times since then.

That's a pretty solid handicap Russ. You might be surprised how quickly you get it back. Especially with new clubs!

Time to mow the grass.
By the way, since Cheryl outdrove you, did you play the rest of the hole with your peter hanging out?

Friend of mine has a puppy some folks would call a bit large...
It can put it's front paws on his shoulders and lick his face while he's standing. Says it shouldn't get much bigger.

With a MUCH quieter lower body, I’m not sure I’ll be able to turn on the ball. I went to the driving range after my right knee was replaced and I hit the ball well, much better than I anticipated. With my left knee replacement, I don’t think I’ll be able to pivot so I’m gonna have to invent a new swing for me. New clubs might help, maybe +1” in length for a more upright swing but you have to be careful as that can lead to leaving the club face open at impact. I suppose I’ll have to head to the golf store to see what they have nowadays.
