Thought about that but I don't think that will allow water to pass through. The pitch of the floor is all over the place and there's a raised border around the perimeter,, so any water would just puddle. I reset most of the stones so noone will be tripping on them. It's natural flagstone so the surface is irregular ....it's "rustic"...new buzzword.
