At the airline we put plastic plugs in unused holes, even though inside the plane like this one there shouldn't be liquid or oil to worry about.
Shorter screws always werked for me. I don't know why they still use slotted screws, I hate those things.
Had an FAA inspector ask me if I could figure out why something went wrong, and spoke before thinking about it, said nothing to do with the failure, but somebody put the wrong zip tie on the wires to the failed part, should be high temp blue, and it was medium temp black. Airline ended up pulling all their wire harnesses back to the shop from all over the world and I had to inspect and in many cases make them legally compliant, several weeks of job security, even with two helpers assigned to help. But... I found the problem, not the FAA, and there were no fines, so it was probably a good thing. American airlines got a huge fine a few months later for a similar lack of compliance, but theirs was found by an FAA inspector, as such wasn't considered a self found and corrected problem, FAA is pretty lenient about those.

Afternoon all. Got my birdseed. Took all the back roads to get there and back. Freeways were full of cars. Nice day to ride through the vineyards.
Nice, Lou. There are a couple of good recent movies about wineries/vineyards. Lemme check my memory bank and see if I can recall the titles....aha..
One is 'A,Walk in the Clouds' starring Keaneau Reeves.
