No, I think you were right in the 1st place. It's a pita waiting for him to tee off. Then I have ride to my tee and tee off. Then to Cheryl's tee.

And sure, when he hits it well it sails. But that's maybe 50% of the time.

 

One thing is, I'm not very good, but I know what good is. These guys, and most that I see doing this, are worse than me.
Part of the problem is speed of play. Playing poorly is fine, I have no problem with it. But suck fast! The course isn't the place to work on your swing. And you don't need to spend a lot of time looking for your ball, either.
And don't forget to waste a bunch of time chatting up the cart girl.

No ****. We go to Cabo San Lucas to play golf. I tell the starter I am a 2 and want to play from the tips. No problem.

Pairs us with a father and son who cannot reach the fairway landing are from there.

After 3 holes I gently suggest they move to the whites.

 

To the smokers in here. Does it matter what pellets you use in your smoker? Any preferences? Any preferences with wood chips?
