Afternoon Woods, we went for a short riding today. Lots to do to get ready to leave tomorrow. I heard what sounded like metal on metal coming from my front brakes, sure enough, the pads on the left rotor are gone and the rotor is destroyed !. I changed the front pads when I did the tires @ 20k. I’m not @ 40k yet but it looks like I’m in the market for two front rotors and two sets of pads. I had heard that one side of the front brakes would ware faster than the other due to the “ linked braking system “ on the Rushmore bikes w/ anti lock. Guess they were right, because the right side still has “ plenty “ of pad.

Howdy Dan. Guess it all depends on what the weather does. I got another good ride in today. Left the house about 10:30 and didn't get back home till 4 this afternoon.

Good to hear Doc! I need to see your ride planning sheet! I need a good ride location something another....all my ride locations are getting old!

Most of the time I just go where the front wheel takes me Dan. After all, there's only so many roads within a day's riding distance and like you say, they get old after a a while.
