TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
On the subject of Asian Giant Hornets, I don't think they will be the problem that the news is making them out to be. Yes, they can devastate a beehive, but the bees have a defense. I have seen my own bees ball wasps and bumblebees. I see no reason they wouldn't do the same to a hornet, it would just take more of them. Bees have the ability to ball around an enemy and vibrate their bodies which creates heat. The center of the ball can reach temps of over 110 degrees and also removes most oxygen from the center of the ball. Bees can survive that, but most other insects cannot.

Yeah, they changed how you turn on the 4-way flashers. I suppose it isn’t the engineers fault, more mine for not know where all the stuff is.
Used to be you’d press both turn signals at the same time but no longer. I’m cruising through Waco today, in medium traffic and while trying to change the source of the radio I inadvertently hit the magic button to turn the 4 ways on. In traffic, my 4 ways are flashing and people are actually getting out of the way for me so I went with until I got to the north side of town, pulling off in the shade to figure out how to turn them off. Yeah, there’s a button for them. I couldn’t really inspect all the buttons due to watching everyone else.
My favorite is the smooth power on the 117. Even at 85 and I want to do a pass, just roll on the power. It has plenty to spare.
Most non-fav is the suspension. The rear shocks are a bit “stickish”, meaning stiff but it could be they aren’t broken in yet, under observation. I guess I expected a more plush ride. This is fixable.

Make your buddy happy! Hahaha
Yup Russ. It's nice just to roll on the throttle and pass whatever is in your way. I personally think the power I have the bike should have had originally. In stock form it was a slug.
