TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Evening woods. Been doing yard work today at the old house, new house, and the shop. It seems like a piece of cake compared to the golf course. Perspective I guess.
I must have missed the news...you bought a new house?
G'Evening, Woods...
Moldie, I think you and I are built about the same. End of last winter, I was at 226 and I felt like a dump truck , I can't imagine 260. Got my thyroid straightened out and got into that house project and lost 26 lbs over the summer, I actually hit 199 for about 2 minutes. Holding around 203 now. You gotta lose that weight, that can't be any good for you mentally and physically...

Late afternoon/Early evening, fellas.
I know I've put on some weight, haven't wanted to step on the scale to find out. Getting off is a lot more work than putting it on.
Not being able to go to the driving range has put a big crimp in my physical activity.

Hot damn boys this was a good day! Great weather, got some stuff done, and then hit the road. Things are still pretty much shut down here as far as bars, etc. Went for a ride well out into the country and came across a place full of bikes. I figured, what the hell, I'm thirsty and I'll check it out. I'm not sure exactly what the deal was but I have a pretty good idea. All the folks were wearing the dominant colors so I figure it was an arranged thing. I got off the bike and asked a few of them standing at the steps if they minded if I grabbed a beer....they said "knock yerself out" so I had a cold one and enjoyed the scenery. That felt good. It's been a long while.
Eavning all. Got my 3M film on my fender so I can run my Corbin without damaging the paint. Now I need to get the kiddo a helmet!

Looks like Halley's comet is giving us a meteor shower this week.
