Chair is coming along Lou, I like it. A planer would be awesome for that work. That oak, is it tough sanding or going down easily?

I built one like that in high school. Had it sitting around for a while and took a torch to it.

Pain to sand considering I've had this oak outside since 1998. Working with wood is a hobby but I suck at it. Dropping$400 on a plainer is probably out of the question. A guy can dream.

Can you use wek ones maybe if they have one? Or any wood working buddies?
