Put that front fork I've been fiddling with back on the bike. Had a little worry when I counted the bearings I took out and there was an odd number, figuring they'd be the same, but the manual said 18 and 19, so got past that ok. Can be a little tense sticking a steering stem in the whole with loose ba11s on an open race (bottom bearing), but it went in without dropping any. And I carefully counted the ba11s first, yep, 19. Put the rest of the ba11s on top, finished it up, stepped back, and... what's that shiny spot on the floor... oh nooooo. Moral of the story is, after you carefully count the bottom ba11s, COUNT the damn top ba11s, too! Sure was a relief when I uncovered the top ba11s and it was one short, about a 15 minute fix. The bottom... that would have been doing everything all over. Count yer *****, sucks to be short one.

Think I'll do Swedish meatballs & mashed potatoes for supper. I put a lot of seasoning in the potatoes, but the one that really rounds out the flavor for me is feta cheese, I use that instead of salt.
