I can't believe you like Aunt Jemima and Krusty both, unless K has improved a lot since I tried it once several years ago. I may never get Aunt J's again, though, unless the price comes back down after people quit buying 10 times what they need. The $2.50/2 lb box (that I finished last week ) at Amazon is double digit now. All of these were actually fairly inexpensive at Amazon in January.


Aunt J. Somebody needs ounces explained to them. 10 bucks shipping?!!


I've tried this, about the same as Aunt J. For a moment thought it was the cheapest on Amazon. Whoops, shipping again...


I tried this once, when the price was still earthbound. Pretty good, but I paid less for a 33 oz can than this 1 lb.


And the one we all seem to like. The 4.5 lb box I have now was $3+ a lb cheaper than this.

 

Sounds good, I think I just decided on what to have for dinner. Plenty of fish in one of the freezers.

Asparagus is an expensive seasoning that bacon doesn't really need.

 

Sorry for you and your Mom, Al. Shame you can't be with her. Was easier for me, got a call that Mom died that morning, all over quick.

Tough time Al. Sorry to hear it. BTDT. It's not easy but as you have mentioned, vs being in a nursing home for years...….I wouldn't want that for myself is all I can say.
