Did you take door panels off or loose? Did you have to disconnect the rods?

 

 

Hey Mark! Buddy of mine installs them sometimes for people he says that some vehicles royally suck!

 

Truck already had power locks so didn't have to remove panels or rods. Was able to remove the small panel with the locks, windows, mirror controls and wire it in from there

 

Its not too big a deal. I'll fix it eventually. Gives me a reason to get outside & do something

Or maybe just buy a brand new truck that comes with keyless entry

 

I assume the power locks were operating prior to adding the remote?

 

Yep & still work. Just gotta figure out where I went wrong with the keyless add-on moduke. To clarify, I can hear the solenoid of the keyless module clicking when i press the remote lock/unlock buttons.
