The barracks at Ft. Benning were exactly the kind that were pictured in "Full Metal Jacket" ... Pretty much a "tinder box" if fire broke out ... I was at the "Harmony Church" area ... There was an OCS ( Officer Candidate School ) there and nearby were the Jump Towers for airborne training ...
