Yep. Spent the first 6 weeks of my Naval training at the Naval Training Center in San Diego. No longer used for that, I believe all Navy boot is now at Great Lakes Naval Station.

Had to post her, Larry. Every Christmas season I watch the 1947 version of Miracle on 34th Street and fall in love with her all over again. Damn that Robert Payne!

My boot was in Ft. Jackson, SC followed by AIT at Ft. Eustis, VA.
