Mornin' y'all. Getting ready for work, thought I'd pop in. Course now getting ready for work means taking the laptop to whichever room I feel like working from today. Hard frost again this morning, 26 degrees. WTF.

Slow rider, too, I hate to admit I held these guys back a bit in the Black Hills a couple summers ago. I never got over 70. Well, except for age, I'm over 70 there. Buncha youngsters in this group, I think 3 or 4 of em are even under 50. Granddad... I'm guessing you're somewhere north of 50. Grandkids old enough to ride with you yet?
Meat is always on the menu here. Scaled back from 5 grills to just 3, plus the big drum smoker. I grew up in Zapata, TX, so I know a little about Tex-Mex. I wrench on everything, whether it needs it or not. Haven't really had a chance to do anything with the bike. Bought it a year and a half ago and it was exactly as I wanted it, well except for the bars. I did change the 12" mini apes out for quasi buckhorns and new grips.
I think I've had the bike up to 70 one time; the day I brought it home on the interstate. There's no other roads around here where it would be advisable to go much over 50, and then it's only for a very short distance.
I'll be 55 a week from today, 4/23. Oldest grandchild (of 7) is a girl, 15. She doesn't live close.

Smokey, another April birthday boy. Several of us in here. I have 6 April birthdays in my family alone. G'daughter, wife, Mother, SIL, niece and ME! April is like Christmas month with money flying out the door. On top of that..income tax, state tax, property tax and insurances.

My younger brother is the only other April B-day in my family; day before mine but 3 years apart. Well, wife's brother is 4/24, but he's an idiot, so it doesn't count. Property taxes, state taxes, personal property taxes...sounds strangely familiar.
