TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Project #1 complete. Kristi wanted shelves in the closet where we put all the cleaning stuff. After an essential trip to Lowe’s, two brand new adjustable wire shelves with S hooks to hang the broom and mop now adorn the closet.
Project #2 is extra credit. The west end of the patio gets full sun in the evening and is tough to bear. I wanted a roll up shade, nothing special, just a simple solution. Had a guy out a couple of days ago to show me his product which was obviously the “Cadillac” of roll up shades. He wanted $2700 for one shade approximately 80” X 11’. Wanted to pull electricity because it was powered. Nope, nope, nope. I want something simple and above all MUCH cheaper than that. Lowe’s has something simple, 72” wide X 72” long that will work just fine for less than a hundred bucks. The shade only needs to come down about 5’ because any lower than that, the sun goes behind the neighbor’s house. Easy.

Looks like you're about 5300 bucks into this project. You really are Husband of the Year.
Dammit, I put the hand sprayer for the back yard hose somewhere and cannot find it. #%=÷&/#.

I usually get - "Looks good, now do this...……"
It's never a "good" now do this either.
You have to be married to get husband points. Those are apportioned out as a replacement for sex.
