Sam's Club started seniors' shopping, 7-9am Tu & Th, so dropped by about 7:45 this morning, hoping the toilet paper crowd would have time to get in & out. Was a cluster of people in front, several people loading their suv's, enough cars in the lot to have a crowd inside, so I just drove on by. Don't think I'll bother even checking it out again till the risk is over; I've never seen that store without a bit of crowd in it, even before now. Went by the local grocery I use, and it was almost deserted, so at least I got some milk and a few other things, that will get me into next month without running out of anything but hamburger, and I can live without that. Don't need tp, but looked out of curiosity, and all the paper products were gone.

Little while after getting back home, it snowed so hard it was like a thick fog. Less than an hour after it stopped, all melted.

 

Why haven't I heard that story? Really happen?

 

I don't think I could ever live with another person full time again. A month now with nobody else putting a foot in the house but me and I'm enjoying it.

Do most of my bacon eating when I can pick a tomato from the garden, rest of the time just cook it and keep frozen so I can crumble some in pizza, eggs, some soups. Have 3 lbs in the freezer now, should last till July.

 

little excitement last night...this is from my neighbors house....the guy in white runs off to check if my cars were unlocked...they were....

 

at the end...you see 2 cars speed off....one of them stolen from our street!!!

 

Not good, Bill. Thieves should be shot on sight.
