She had flats, working in a store. I told her I figured her for near 6 feet, and she volunteered the 6'2". Didn't talk long, but she was friendly. Cute, too, bet with hair done nice and something better than working clothes, she'd be more than a little bit of a looker. I'd probably be older than she'd want if I was 50 years younger, I had no intention of making a fool of meself.

Hazard of northern living. Not the first time I've practiced tuck and roll, but it has been a few years. Was like landing on a pile of rocks up to football size, I was surprised to get up with just a couple bruises. Had a thick jacket on, that definitely helped.

Sometimes ya just shake it off and when someone of any importance asked ya if you fell recently.. uhhh nope!
