Looks like my neighbor got busted again. Lives across the street. One reason I have 3 outside cameras pointed at his house.

Sadly he will probably be on the street before the ink on the report is dry. Kudos to the eagle eyed LEO guys.

His family has been in this town as long as mine and he has been in the system since grade school. Sadly it is catch and release here. Had a sheriff tell me to just shoot him if he breaks in and they will work it all out. Actually he has been my neighbor for 3 years now and zero problems so far.

Yes, he may get some of that. Right now he's told his crews they're off for two weeks and then it's whatever the situation is. I doubt it will be back to work this month at least. With 3 kids, both working people, they'll get a nice check, too. Good thing, if this doesn't drag on too long, he has a lot of contracts with businesses that say they'd prefer to wait, too, and will be to start back up right where they paused, hopefully no slow start trying to get business back before cash flow runs out, there's going to be plenty that won't be able to do that without some serious bank or government help. Audrey's job probably isn't in danger, they handle a lot of big downtown buildings that aren't going anywhere, unless the owners go bankrupt. Banks don't want to foreclose on multi million dollar buildings that probably wouldn't sell for a long time, I doubt many if any of that will happen. Might not be the new normal, but for a while I expect the finance industry to get creative and do things they wouldn't have considered 4 months ago.

A lot are hurting already. By the time the government checks go out, there will be missed house payments, and my daughter told me some of the businesses she works with have already warned they're out of money to pay April's bills. Too many people living on the edge.

We retired folks are kind of lucky, money wise, at least we don't have to worry about getting laid off. As long as the S.S. and pension checks continue, anyway. I feel incredibly lucky Delta bought the company I'd worked for, the pension was only about 35% funded, and the last pension report I got from Delta it was overfunded, so even if Delta didn't survive, I wouldn't take a big hit if the pension went to the PGBC or whatever that government agency is called. If Delta doesn't survive, there won't be an airline industry in this country. Delta has actually made more money fixing other companies' planes than moving people some years. Gives them a heck of an advantage over airlines that farm out most of their maintenance and reduced their head count and facilities so now they can't just bring it all back in right away.

It's looking like we could double the national deficit this year. How in the hell can that ever be paid up?

The orange ones look like the ones in my computers' ups, only mine doesn't have handles. And are probably about 20 times cheaper...
