You are right to be scratching. If the basket is out of round it won't fix itself?

How is the inside of the clutch basket, are there any scores or scrapes where the clutch plates may be hanging up?

Well it wont be hard to check its all apart for now and will be for a while

Thanks i will check that , I was worried about bent main shaft but i have little to no run out

Also, pull the clutch center rod/pushrod to make sure it's not bent. Roll it on a flat surface, piece of glass or something.

I'm assuming you already lubed the clutch cable? If not I found a video on youtube showed a guy making an oil IV out of a water bottle for stuck cables. Just drill a hole through the cap. I can't find it right now but you get the idea.
