Mick, sorry to read that you have lost your buddy. I would be devastated if something were to happen to my Miss Casey.

Thanks, Tick. We've lost 2 in the last 8 months. Just doesn't seem right.

We had 3. Now we have one. Lost the first one at the end of April. The one we just lost, Rugby, was a corgi/huskey mix but thought he was all corgi.

Sorry to hear Mick, I'd forgot about the April passing. It's fresh now, but will you get another to keep #3 company? I imagine he/she wondering where the buddies went ........and is getting lots of love.

Stan, it is way too soon to make the determination. A dog is a 12-15 year commitment....not one to be made on the rebound, so to speak.

10-4 Mick. I was done with pets when my last bird dog died. It was 6 months later and we ended up with a "Hairy Child" ankle-biter named "PePe" for God sake ! LOL.
Part of the family though.
Best wishes Mick

Had to put both of our Shelties down this year, one in June and one in November. They were 13. Didn't need that after losing my wife in March.

Thanks, Stan. Most here have lost a pet and you are right, they're family.
