Only broke triple digits on the springer once so far. Went to pass a truck and he floored it. He'd been going 50 in a 55 and I knew if I got back behind him he'd do it again so last I saw was around 105 when he finally let off and let me in front. Hate morons

Triple digits, not here, actually I think most folks here like to drive fast, but seems like most of the time you're lucky to do the speed limit, enough slowpokes going 10-20 mph under the limit to really slow traffic down a lot of the time. I did get up to 60 today for about 5 seconds before I came up to one of those, and that was only 10 over. Never even reached the speed limit again on my brief foray on a highway.
Cleared up a little while this afternoon, checked out the 1200, fired up fine with a shot of starting fluid - for maybe a second. The eyes aren't what they used to be, so I took a photo of the petcock, blew it up and sure enough, I'm a dumbkopf, was on off, not run. So a few minutes later the good starting sporty was getting some exercise. Wasn't much, was getting into rush hour, and the highways I'd have to cross to go far were full of traffic, I don't like riding in that. Putted around the neighborhood in first & 2nd gear waving to all the folks walking their kids and dogs, never saw so many people doing that before. One brief highway sprint and traffic let me get into 4th gear for a few seconds... Felt great and frustrating at the same time, I like to let the 1200 stretch its legs when I ride it, this was more like riding the Ural, which doesn't have any legs to stretch, it just gradually rolls from here to there.
I don't know how this lockdown will treat riders, fair amount of rain in the forecast anyway. Gonna take the air cleaner back off the 1200, needs a cleaning, winter came on too fast and it still needs an oil change, so we'll still spend some time together. Finally got the last piece, I hope, to put mid controls on it. The 883 handled way better when I put mids on it, I don't consider sportsters cruisers anyway. I want to get the 883 back on the road this summer, too, would like to ride the pair of them with Audrey, haven't done that yet with the sportsters. She didn't ride at all last year, manufacturing a kid put that on hold.

John, Lou, Mick, Oldie, another day. of distancing. The Governor says I can't go back to work. Golf would be a perfect outlet but she says no. Guess she's not a golfer.
Sweet Baby Jesus the next thing you know they'll be buying BMWs .....
