Argh, I know I got less than 6 hours sleep, but at least I finished breakfast before the phone calls. No grandkids yet, daughter is keeping them till noon today. No complaints, I feel tired. Tried the 1200 again before going to bed, just cranks, no fire. It's done that before in cold weather, not worried yet. At least the battery's good. Enough snow to cover the gr*ss this morning, but none on pavement. Read one page here, post this and try to ketch up.

Is the Holly thread closed? I was surprised Izzo let loose on the Queen's forum, I wonder if the ladies wondered where that came from.

It has little effect on me, for far less money I can make my own meals that I know I'll like, no guarantee of that even at expensive restaurants, so I prefer to eat at home. Don't buy many veggies because I grow so many, and shop big box stores as much as I can (had ordered a big box of tp a couple weeks before the panic, didn't anticipate, was just getting low) so most of my grocery store runs (maybe twice a month) seldom reach $30. I rarely go over $300/month for food, occasionally under $200. This kind of buying often gives me a few months supply with the occasional milk and egg run. Probably a good thing I'm not a typical shopper, most grocery stores would go out of business. I'll need to do a milk run this week, but thinking about just going without for a while, except for a few optional perishables, I could easily go a couple months with little change to my diet.

I'm overdue for tooth cleaning, physical and that gawdawful camera, but looks like I won't be catching up this year. Unless it's critical, I'm thinking routine health care can wait till we get a vaccine. Broken tooth... that i would take a chance with, those can hurt.

Medical guy at the U of MN got together with an engineer there and they cobbled up a cheap ventilator, asked some local companies if they could/would make it, and were told probably have a thousand within a couple weeks. No fancy screens or electronics, just basic pump air and oxy, mostly off the shelf parts, sounds like a winner. This virus may do for medicine what WWII did for weapons development. Now if someone could just show the medical officials that a vaccine could be produced in a heck of a lot less than a year...

Wonder if Twizted will get involved with ventilators, Tesla says is going to build them, too.
